Philosophy of Giving

Logos Christian Academy is dedicated to the students that have been entrusted to our care and to our mission, which is to "offer an exemplary education based on Biblical values, so as to equip the children not only to succeed in their careers, but also to be lifetime followers of Jesus Christ." To accomplish this, we invite others to join us in our efforts to make a difference in the lives of the young people entrusted to our care. At Logos Christian Academy, we fully recognize this work as “of the Lord” and not to be taken lightly. Our sincere and earnest desire is to fulfill Matthew 6:33 in the fullest sense: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Students are at the heart of all we do, and it is all for God’s glory. It is with our hearts that we gratefully seek to praise God publicly for His provision, recognizing it is from Him that all blessings flow.

Giving Foundations

1. God owns it all (Psalms 24:1-2)  God is the rightful owner of all I have, and he trusts me to steward or manager what belongs to him in a way that demonstrates wisdom and faith.
2. Giving is to be done with a Grateful Heart (2 Corinthians 9:7) God asks that we give out of loving and thankful hearts for all He has done for us.
3. Giving is an act of Worship (Romans 12:1)  The collecting of tithes and offerings in the weekend service is a visible reminder that we worship through giving.
